“So Long” by Shannon Candy
The Story
With a little extra spare time on her hands during the 2020 COVID shutdown, Shannon Candy recorded and self-released her debut solo album, So Long. I was elated to put visuals to her bright, bedroom punk sound. I decided to lean into Shannon’s signature red hair, and pull a bright color palette that played off that focus color. I used the mod flower pattern from her dress and pulled it through the rest of the artwork, with inverted colorways for physical and digital versions.
