PechaKucha Batavia: Volume 13
The Story
After speaking at and attending my fair share of PechaKucha nights in Batavia, I was flattered when their board reached out to me to design the print materials for their upcoming event.
The theme was simple, “Over the River,” and their only direction otherwise was to honor the PechaKucha brand standards. And with that, I was off. I built a flat perspective forest scene, as it would provide ample space to section off blocks of content, with a river to carry the viewer’s eye down the poster and put the viewer on the same journey attendees go on.
