LA PORTE Swim Shopify
The Story
Johanna Davenport is an incredible #girlboss, starting her own swimwear line, LA PORTE, in 2016. She originally built the website in Shopify with a fulfillment company, but decided to part ways with them in order to gain more control over the look and feel of the website. Having worked with Shopify in the past, I jumped in to help her identify a good template to begin with, and then we began chipping away at edits to truly brand LA PORTE and make it a formidable swimwear competitor.
I worked closely with Johanna and our marketing partner, Alyssa Pleune, to prioritize and design features of the site, including the homepage, product thumbnails, product page, and collection pages, to look beautiful on both desktop and mobile platforms.
